Individual Therapy
-
I take an active role in therapy. I consider it my job to strengthen the parts of you that desire healing and weaken the parts of you that resist healing. I'm approachable, honest, and use humor. Success in therapy depends on our relationship. I value and often insist upon your feedback during therapy to help us reach your goals. I tend to be very candid with my clients, care deeply about their lives, and become their advocate.

I work with adults long-term because I believe good therapy takes time. I specialize in helping adults navigate the emotional toll of autoimmune disease, hormonal imbalance, and complex care systems. I also tend to work well with people who are new to therapy, creatives, athletes, and young adults reckoning with childhood trauma. That said, I welcome all types of people in my practice.

Family Therapy
-
Family therapy is a powerful and effective mode of healing often overlooked in our individualistic society. I help families understand and share responsibility for how they function and dysfunction together. Family members become more sensitive to each other's needs and transformed in the roles they play.
-
I work with families of all demographics and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in helping families navigating chronic illness.
